The rotary heat exchanger, available for models 415 to 960,
consists of a module attached to one side of the 50EN/EH unit
(MWC1 assembly).
● This module incorporates washable fi lters in the fresh air
intake and in the output of the extraction air. Optionally, they
can be replaced by G4 or G4 with low pressure drop.
● The MWC1 assembly can be supplied, in option, with a speed
drive for the wheel which avoids the risk of icing on the wheel
during the defrost operation.
Weight and centre of gravity of curb:
The set of curb must be lifted and fi xed with care and
without inclination (maximum inclination 15º). Please consult
the coordinates of the centre of gravity and the weight in the
attached table.
Attachment of the recovery module to the machine:
The attachment is made using the profi les that incorporates the
module at the two sides and at the top. The module is secured
using M6 Allen screws (supplied with the unit).

● For the transport and lifting to the roof using a crane cloth
slings with rings will be used, with the appropriate resistance,
separated by a strut to avoid damaging the casing.
These slings will be hooked onto the four lifting holes
availables on the base of the module.

Handling and transport
● Both the recovery module and its curb are supplied separately
from the machine. The curb must be fi xed to the module using
4 screws M8, in the points indicated in the following image.
● The module can be handled with a forklift truck. For this
purpose, the module base incorporates 2 guide rails in which
the truck’s fork will be inserted to prevent any sliding.
Electrical connection to be made by the costumer:
For the electrical connection of the module, the cable located in
the interior of the 50EN/EH unit must be connected in the box
located inside the module.
Note: see the wiring diagram included with the unit for a more
detailed information about the wiring.
The installer must also place the damper hoods. To do this,
follow the steps described in paragraph 12.4.
It is mandatory to make all electrical connections
before energizing the unit.
