A tire pressure which corresponds to the indicated upper limit is suitable for:
● Heavier riders.
● Riding on even surfaces.
● Riding with low rolling resistance with lower suspension comfort.
Check regularly that the tire pressure falls in the indicated zone and is correctly adapted to the rider
and riding plans.
Note: the indications on the maximum and minimum tire pressure. Fill the tires with air at least
corresponding to the indicated lower threshold and at the most corresponding to the indicated upper
threshold. Use the air pump with a pressure display in order to check the tire pressure when pumping
up the tires.
10.4.1 Basic settings
The tire pressure has an influence on the roll resistance and the suspension of the cargo bike.
1. Ensure that your air pump has the appropriate connector or adapter for your valve.
2. Check the tire pressure with the help of a pressure gauge or an air pump with pressure display.
3. Increase or reduce the pressure as desired by pumping up the tires or allowing air to escape.
4. Close the valve with the help of the protective cap you have previously removed.
5. Once you have adjusted the tire pressure, ensure that the lower knurled nuts on the valve are
sitting correctly and securely. Affix the knurled nuts where appropriate by tightening them in a
clockwise direction in the direction of the rim.
