3.7  Replacing components 

If you are not able to find a suitable seating position by adjusting the seat, you can achieve a suitable 
seating position by replacing components. Components which can be replaced for this purpose are: 

 

●

The seat tube 

 

●

The seat 

 

●

The stem and the handlebar 

 

●

The pedal cranks 

If it is not possible to adjust the seating position, you can have components with different 
measurements, or you might look for alternative components with different specifications, installed by 
a Carqon dealer.

3.8  Noting the rotational direction of the screws 

Turn in an anti-clockwise direction to loose the cotter pin nuts, screws and shafts. If there are deviations 
from this rule, the relevant rotational difference will be indicated in the corresponding section.

Warning

: Incorrect tightening of screw connections can lead to material  fatigue 

and broken connections.
