Replacement of the used oil or the top-up operations must be carried out under conditions
of maximum safety and hygiene to avoid a situation whereby approximate operations or
unsuitable technical means produce spills on the ground and in the water.
•
The used oil must be stored, before being transferred to the company responsible for
collection, in suitable containers to store it in suitable conditions, eliminating the risks of
breakage and spillage.
1- TOPPING UP THE TANK:
Before topping up the tank, the operator must:
•
Place the machine on the ground on perfectly level ground.
•

Usually the oil temperature in continuous working conditions is between 50°C and 60°C, if the

company CARLOTTI G C S.n.c.

movements and transportation (as required by the specific legislation)
5.5 Storage
During periods of non-use, the GREEN 650/5 L must be stored in an enclosed area, protected from
the action of weathering. It is advisable to position it in such a way that it is not dangerous for
property or persons.
It must be placed securely from a static point of view, to avoid tipping, overturning and to facilitate
hooking and unhooking operations.
After the working season, the qualified technician assigned to the machine must:
•
Clean it from soil debris, dust and other impurities;
•
Proceed with a technical service and repair any damage;
•
Lubricate each point as indicated in paragraph 5.2 and 5.3;
•
Clean the unpainted metal parts, wash them with kerosene and cover them with anti-
corrosive grease or other protective agents;
