Intruder alarm sequence
The intruder alarm operation is designed on the basis of human behaviour patterns to ensure a high degree of security
and at the same time operate with a minimum of efforts for the user.
1. The alarm is activated either through Manual Armouring or Door/Code Lock.
2. A brief check of the status of the detectors is performed. In case of errors, the Manual Armouring channel
immediately starts to flash.
3. The Armouring delay starts to run, and detection will not begin until the delay has elapsed. During the armouring time
the alarm does not react on new errors.
Errors detected under item 2 are saved. The purpose of this is to make it possible to turn on the alarm within a
surveilled area and have time to leave the area.
4. Upon elapse of the armouring time the alarm is fully armed, ie the intruder alarm starts to monitor its sensors.
When the intruder alarm makes a detection, then the following may happen:
a) The user turns off the alarm before elapse of the Desarmouring delay.
b) The user turns off the alarm while the Siren sounds. This will prevent the alarm signal channel from reacting.
c) The alarm is not switched off, but the Siren has stopped.
d) After elapse of the alarm signal delay, the alarm will restart the monitoring sequence.
5. Upon alarm on a detector input, the desarmouring time will start to run.
6. Upon expiry of the desarmouring time, the siren starts and the siren- and alarm signal delays start to run.
7. Upon expiry of the siren time, the siren stops.
Upon expiry of the alarm signal time, an alarm signal pulse occurs
Subsequently, the Manual Armouring channel will give out continuous light and the channels affected by the alarm will
switch off.
8. Upon a new or repeated alarm, the sequence described under item 5 is repeated.
•
Upon start of G38900014 the intruder alarm is switched off.
•
All channels in the intruder alarm can be activated/read by the logic functions.
•
Disabling of detectors is only possible with Manual Armouring.
•
The disable channels can be of any channel type
•
When a disabled detector is switched on, the detector immediately reacts on an error signal.
•
A continuous alarm (detector disconnected) gives out an alarm once.
NB: The intruder alarm must contain at least one passive/active attachment to operate.
