G38xx14 Configuration Software
Siren
Operation:
Operates as an Off-delay timer. In case of an alarm, the siren will pulsate for 4 secs every
minute until the set siren time has expired. Under normal operation the channel is off. The
channel does not react on a transmit pulse. Activation through logic will pulsate the output.
Parameters:
Activation time 0 to 30 min.
Alarm signal
Operation:
Upon an alarm the output will give out a pulse for 10 secs after the delay (0....10 min) has
expired. Under normal operation the channel is off. The channel does not react on a transmit
pulse. Activation through logic will give a pulse for 10 secs.
Parameters:
Delay time 0 to 10 min.
•
If new alarms occur after expiry of the alarm signal delay, the siren time and alarm signal time restart.
•
If the alarm disappears, the alarm automatically resets the siren time and alarm signal time.
•
Upon start of G38900014 the Reset channel is activated and the smoke alarm only starts at the end of the
reset time.
•
All channels in the water alarm can be activated/read by the logic functions.
•
The Disable channels can be of any channel type.
•
Upon enabling of a disabled detector 10 secs will elapse before the detector reacts on an error signal.
Intruder alarm
Passive detector input
Operation:
Normally open input, no transmission on channel. Gives out a signal when transmission
takes place on the channel.
Unarmed:
On when the detector registers an error.
Armed:
Upon transmission the input will register an intruder, and the channel will start flashing.
Parameters:
Disable channel. (See note Disable channel)
Active detector input
Operation:
Normally open input, transmission on channel. Gives out a signal when transmission does
not take place on the channel.
Unarmed:
On when the detector registers an error.
Armed:
Upon missing transmission the input will register intrusion, and the channel will start
flashing.
Parameters:
Disable channel. (See note Disable channel.)
The detector gives out a signal when the error has lasted 0.3 sec. When the detector receives a correct
signal the detector is off. When the detector registers an intruder, the channel flashes rapidly. A reset
channel can be assigned to the input. Upon transmission on the assigned Disable channel the detector input
(zone) is switched out of the intruder alarm. When the alarm is not armed, the detector inputs operate as
normal channel.
