13.3 SLIDING MECHANISM LOCK
Due to incorrect transport and displacement movements of the thermo fireplace, the sliding mechanism lock of the door
can become detached from the chain from the pinion.
To restore the sliding door perform the following procedures:
a) Unscrew the four screws located on the removable covering, the screws on the side first, then those on the upper
removable covering (see figure A)
b) Raise the counterweight;
c) Take the counterweight raised with a support made of wood or similar to facilitate the re-alignment of the chain on
the pinion; (see figure B)
d) Insert a hand inside the door and hang up the chain on the pinion. I If the hand does not fit, use an iron hook (see
figure B)
e) Once the chain is hung up properly, remove the support of the counterweight positioned before;
f) Re-tighten the screws of the removable covering, the upper ones first, then the side ones. (see the right position as
shown in figure C)
