10.0 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
16.1 USING THE THERMO FIREPLACE CARINCI EVOLUTION IN ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS
If the thermo fireplace is installed in areas at risk of frost, it is recommended to:
a) Install an insulated expansion vessel;
b) Insulate the safety and load pipes;
c) Pour a quantity of antifreeze liquid proportioned to the amount of water in the expansion vessel, and on the basis of
the minimum temperatures of the area, in order to avoid water freezing.
10.2 DOOR OPENING
If the thermo fireplace is in operation, it is recommended to use a fireproof glove to open the door.
10.3 USE OF THE THERMO FIREPLACE CARINCI WITH OPEN DOOR
In case of use of the thermo fireplace with open door, it is recommended to ventilate the room keeping a door or win-
dow open.
10.4 SUDDEN SWITCHING OFF OF THE THERMO FIREPLACE CARINCI EVOLUTION
In case it is necessary to switch off the thermo fireplace, it is recommended:
a) To take a normal bottle or something similar, fill it with water and pour it uniformly on the wood until the extinction
of the fire;
b) Once the fire is extinguished, remove the wood from the combustion chamber of the thermo fireplace;
c) Remove the ash with the specific ash shovel;
d) Air the room.
10.5 OVERHEATING
Should the thermo fireplace reach high temperatures, use the secondary exchanger inside the Thermo fireplace for the
production of sanitary hot water as a heat sink for the excess energy, open a tap water connected to it and wait until
the temperature decreases.
10.6 POSSIBLE MALFUNCTIONS
In the presence of the following possible malfunctions it is recommended to extinct the fire:
a) Block of the circulator
b) Failure of the control unit;
c) Blockage of the flue;
d) Lack of water in the expansion vessel.
11.0 CLEANING OF THE THERMO FIREPLACE CARINCI EVOLUTION
Shown below, some simple cleaning up actions to do every day:
11.1 GLASS CLEANING
a) It is recommended to clean the glass when the thermo fireplace is off;
b) Open the shutter-door;
c) Use of a non-abrasive cloth;
d) Proceed to clean the glass using CARINCI glass cleaner or a similar product.
11.2 BOILER COMPARTMENT CLEANING
a) It is recommended to clean the boiler compartment when the thermo fireplace is off;
b) Take the ash shovel;
c) Remove all the ash and put it in a metal container;
d) Wait for the ash to cool down and proceed to dispose of it in the appropriate containers.
