Program Inputs
The program inputs are located inside the CH1000 cabinet (See Figure 16 for exact location). Below is the
pin outs for the removable terminal strip. The inputs are designed for 1V RMS with a 10KO input
impedance. Program sources that produce signal levels in excess of this need to be attenuated prior to
connecting to the CH1000 system. Program sources can be anything from a 3
rd
party AM/FM tape/tuner
to a CD player or mixer. The minimum wire type recommended from the program source to the CH1000
is 24 awg shielded cable. The shield for the cable MUST be terminated at one end only, and not both.

Microphone Input
The microphone input is located inside the CH1000 cabinet (See Figure 16 for exact location). Below is
the pin outs for the removable terminal strip. The input is designed for a dynamic low impedance
microphone. The microphone only becomes active for an all page, when the MIC SWITCH pin is
connected to the GND pin. The microphone will continue to do an all call page until the switch opens
again.
