NOTE: A MICROWAVE ENERGY LEAKAGE TEST MUST ALWAYS BE PERFORMED WHEN THE UNIT IS SERVICED FOR ANY REASON.

 

BEFORE TOUCHING any parts of the oven, always remove the power plug from the outlet.

 

For about 60 seconds after the oven stops, an electric charge remains in the high voltage capacitor. When replacing or checking, you must wait to permit the capacitor 
discarding.

2. Measure the resistance. (Ohm-meter scale: Rx1000)

 

• Filament to chassis (Wire leads are removed)

 

Normal readings: Infinite
