Cutting Rotary Drive Belt
• Adjust belt tension properly. Inproperly tensioned belt may reduce performance
and its service life.
1. Open engine hood.
2. Move cutting rotor clutch lever to [ON].
3. Check V-belt tension. Push V- belt by finger
and check that deflection at center point A is
in the range of 10 to 15 mm. If it is out of this
range, adjust with adjust nut.
4. Visually inspect belt. Replace belt if it is
damaged. For replacement, contact your
CANYCOM representative.
5. Move cutting rotor clutch lever to [OFF].
6. Close engine hood.

1. Open engine hood.
2. Move cutting rotor clutch lever to [ON].
3. Loosen lock nut.
4. Adjust V-belt with adjust nut so that the
deflection at center point A is in the range
of 10 to 15 mm when the belt is pressed by
finger.
5. Tighten lock nut.
6. Move cutting rotor clutch lever to [OFF].
7. Close engine hood.
