When you use the provided USB cable to connect UltraDuo Z1 to your
computer, the LCD screen will show three available options.
USB Storage
PC Camera
DashCam
Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the necessary function, and press the
OK button to continue.
USB STORAGE
When you have connected the Cansonic UltraDuo Z1 to the computer, the
camera will operate as a card reader. Your computer will have a pop up of a
new drive for you to browse all the video and picture files.
REMEMBER: Turn your UltraDuo Z1 off before you disconnect it from your
computer.
PC CAMERA
The Cansonic UltraDuo Z1 is equipped with a special feature that allows your
camera to function as a Webcam. Establish the connection between your
computer and UltraDuo Z1, then launch the program that utilizes a camera for
its use (e.g. Skype) and select ‘CANSONIC Digital Still Camera’ in the program.
DASHCAM
When you choose this option, UltraDuo Z1 will turn on and work normally while
the battery is being charged.
Note: Remember to always turn off the UltraDuo Z1 before disconnecting it
from your computer.
