Troubleshooting

The POWER Light Flashes Orange

■  

Four flashes: BJ cartridge out of ink

A BJ tank in a BJ cartridge has run out of ink.

Replace the empty BJ tank and press the RESUME button.

 Replacing a BJ Tank

■  

Five flashes: BJ cartridge not installed correctly

The BJ cartridge is not installed correctly. Re-install the BJ cartridge. 

 BJ Cartridges You Can Use With the Printer

■  

Six flashes: BJ cartridge not installed

The BJ cartridge is not installed. Select and install a BJ cartridge according to the work you 
are doing.

■  

Seven flashes: BJ cartridge defective

There is a problem with the BJ cartridge installed in the printer.

Remove the BJ cartridge and check that the contacts on the BJ cartridge and cartridge 
holder are clean. Also check that the orange protective tape has been removed from the 
print head then install the BJ cartridge again.

If the error occurs again after you resume operation, replace the BJ cartridge.
