Printout Is Unsatisfactory

The colors in printed photographs and illustrations are not as clear as you expected.

For printing photographs or illustrations, use of High Resolution Paper, 
Glossy Photo Paper, or High Gloss Photo Film is recommended. These 
media provide better color reproduction and brighter colors than plain 
paper.

For best results, use the optional BC-34e Photo BJ Cartridge. 

For printing color graphs or charts with text, use the BC-33e Color 
BJ Cartridge.

A clogged or worn BJ cartridge may also cause printing problems. 
Print a Nozzle Check Pattern and check the printed patterns.
