Printout Is Unsatisfactory

The document is displayed correctly on the screen but meaningless text and symbols are 
printed.

? 

Meaningless characters and symbols may print if you have selected the 
wrong printer driver for the print job.

Start the print procedure again and make sure that Canon S400 is 
displayed in the Name entry box of the Print dialog box.

If another driver is selected, click the down-arrow and select Canon 
S400 from the pull-down list.

If you use only the Canon S400 printer, select the Canon S400 as the 
default printer. Click Start, Settings, and then Printers. Highlight the S400 
icon and right-click. Click “Set as default”; make sure a checkmark appears 
next to “Set as default”.
