The Printing Preferences is configured with the following three tabs shown in Figure 1-7-36:

(1) Page Setup :
Set the items frequently used for general printing.
(2) Finishing :
Selects whether printing is performed in collate.
(3) Quality :
Sets image-related items.
To store the items set in each tab, click on the OK button and close the Printing Preferences dia-
log box. To close the box without changing the items, click on the Cancel button. Clicking on
the Apply button stores the items without finishing the Printing Preferences.

(1) OK :
Stores the settings in the Printing Preferences and finishes it.
(2) Cancel :
Closes the dialog box without changing its items.
(3) Apply :
Stores the settings without finishing the dialog.
The Profile of Microsoft Windows 2000/XP has the same contents as that of Microsoft Windows
NT. For details, refer to “b. Defaults” on Page 1-30.
