Sharing Tab

Use this tab to designate whether or not the printer is shared on the network. It can be opened
by clicking on the Sharing tab in the Properties dialog box.

The sharing tab is shown in Figure 1-7-10.

(1) Not shared :

Keep this check box ON if you want to use this printer as a local printer.

(2) Shared :

Keep this check box ON if you want to use this printer as a network printer.

(3) Share Name :

Available only when the Shared option button is selected. Displays the name

of the shared printer. You can change the name if necessary.

(4) Alternate Drivers :

Enables you to install drivers of different version or with different CPU

as an alternate driver. As this printer does not support this item, do not select any alternate
drivers in this list box.
