Images Displayed During Playback
Each set of images shot continuously is managed as a single group, and
only the first image in that group will be displayed. To indicate that the
image is part of a group, [ ] is displayed.
• If you erase a grouped image ( = 190), all images in the group
are also erased. Be careful when erasing images.
•
Grouped images can be played back individually and ungrouped (
=
181).
• Protecting ( = 187) a grouped image will protect all images in the group.
• Grouped images can be viewed individually when played back using Image
Search ( = 179) or Smart Shuffle ( = 186). In this case, images are
temporarily ungrouped.
• Grouped images cannot be sent individually ( = 74), and Face ID
information cannot be edited (
=
182). They cannot be manipulated with
some touch actions ( = 198), tagged as favorites ( = 195), edited ( = 193
– 204), categorized ( = 197), assigned as a start‑up image ( = 212),
printed ( = 232), specified for printing individually ( = 241), or added to
a photobook (
=
243). To do these things, either view grouped images
individually ( = 181) or cancel grouping ( = 181) first.
