Fax Dialing Features
Dialing Through a Switchboard
If your machine is connected to a PBX, register the [R] key so you can
easily access the outside line.
Registering the [R] Key
1.
Press [Menu].
2.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select <SYSTEM
SETTINGS>, then press [OK].
3.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select
<COMMUNICATIONS>, then press [OK].
4.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select <R-KEY SETTING>,
then press [OK].
5.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select <PBX>, then press
[OK].

6.
Use the numeric keys to enter the prefix number
(up to 20 digits), then press [OK].

7.
Press [Stop/Reset] to return to the standby mode.
Dialing using the [R] Key
1.
Set documents.
2.
Press [R] to access the outside line.
3.
Use the numeric keys to enter the fax number.
4.
Press [Start].
