1. Removing the carriage motor

1) Remove the right cover and left cover

(See page 3-7)

2) Remove the idler roller holder tension

spring [1], remove the the idler roller [2]

and idler roller holder [3] and loosen the

carriage belt.

3) Remove the PCB box

(See page 3-34)

4) Remove 4 screws [4] and remove the

carriage motor [5].
