Additional Information
• When recording movies, try to get a calm, stable picture. Exce ss ive
camcorder movement while s hooting and exten s ive u s e of fa s t z oom s
and panning can re s ult in jittery s cene s . In extreme ca s e s , the playbac k
of s uch s cene s may re s ult in vi s ually induced motion s ic k ne ss . If you
experience s uch a reaction, immediately s top the playbac k and ta k e a
re s t brea k a s nece ss ary.
Long-term storage
If you do not intend to u s e the camcorder for a long time, s tore it in a
place free of du s t, in low humidity, and at temperature s not higher than
30 °C (86 °F).
Battery Pack
• Attach the terminal cover whenever a battery pac k i s not in u s e. Con-
tact with metallic object s may cau s e a s hort circuit and damage the bat-
tery pac k .
• Dirty terminal s may cau s e a poor contact between the battery pac k and
the camcorder. Wipe the terminal s with a s oft cloth.
Long-term storage
• S tore battery pac ks in a dry place at temperature s no higher than 30 °C
(86 °F).
• To extend the battery life of the battery pac k , di s charge it completely
before s toring it.
• Charge and di s charge all your battery pac ks fully at lea s t once a year.

Treat the battery pack with care.
• K eep it away from fire (or it might explode).
• Do not expo s e the battery pac k to temperature higher than 60 °C
(140 °F). Do not leave it near a heater or in s ide a car in hot weather.
• Do not try to di s a ss emble or modify it.
• Do not drop it or s ubject it to s hoc ks .
• Do not get it wet.
