8 - Midroller Axle Removal And Installation

STEP 8

Lubricate the new rubber joint (1) with denatured
alcohol and press the joint into the pivot arm (2) with
the bolt mounts (3) in the position shown.

NOTE:

The rubber joint must be centered in the pivot

arm when installed.

STEP 9

Hold the axle mount assembly in place and install the
two M20 x 80 bolts (1). Tighten the bolts (1) to 570
N•m (420 ft-lb).

STEP 10

Lubricate a new O-ring with clean petroleum jelly and
install the O-ring (1) in the collar ring.

STEP 11

Press both collar rings (1) on the axle until each ring
(1) is contacting the shoulder (2) on the axle.
