center of the gas port.
4. Repeat for each of the spark electrodes.
Turning LP Cooker Off
• Turn all knobs to OFF position.
• Turn LP tank OFF by turning hand-wheel
clockwise to a full stop.
Burner Flame Check
• Light burner; rotate
knob(s) from HIGH to
LOW. You should see a
smaller flame in LOW
position than seen on
HIGH. Always check
flame prior to each use.
The air damper
mounted on the back of your burner helps to
control the amount of primary air that mixes
with the LP gas. A blue flame with little or no
yellow flame provides the best heat. Rotate
the air damper until the desired flame is
achieved. Curing of paints and parts will
produce an odour only on first use.
WARNING
All cleaning and maintenance should only be
done when the appliance is cool and with the
fuel supply turned off at the LP cylinder. DO
NOT clean any part in a self-cleaning oven.
The extreme heat will damage the finish.
Grate Removal Instructions
1. Loosen thumb screw.
Lighting Cooking system with Match:
Do not lean over LP cooker while lighting.
1. Remove all appliances from the burner to
create a free flow of air.
2. Turn control valve(s) to OFF position.
3. Slowly open LP bottle valve.
4. Light match and place it over burner. Slowly
turn ON the control valve(s). Do NOT stand
with head or arms over the cooker.
5. If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn
the burner control(s) off, wait 5 minutes,
and repeat the lighting procedure.
Lighting with Built-in Ignitor Valve
Do not lean over LP cooker while lighting.
1. Remove all appliances from the burner to
create a free flow of air.
2. Turn regulator control valves to OFF
position.
3. Fully open LP bottle valve.
4. Slowly Turn valve to high position. The
ignitor should spark and light the burner.
5. If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn
the burner control(s) off, wait 5 minutes,
and repeat the lighting procedures.
If built-in ignitor will not light, follow
instructions for lighting with a match.
If the flame is accidentally extinguished, turn
the appliance valves OFF and WAIT 5 minutes
before attempting to ignite.
Adjusting Spark Electrode
1. Turn the gas OFF at the supply tank valve.
2. Check the spark electrode. The wire of the
spark electrode should be placed directly
over one of the burner gas ports. There
should be about a
3 mm / 1/8 in vertical gap between the wire
and the burner port.
3. Turn the valve and watch for the spark to
jump from the spark electrode wire to the
burner port. Ideally the spark should hit the
