5.4 Shutter operation during image transfer and image readout
During the image transfer and image readout operations charge is transferred in the CCD. A shutter pulse during
these operations can damage the image or cause visible cross-talk of the shutter pulse in the image.
If the camera is executing an image transfer or image readout and a shutter operation is required (caused by an
external event or even in continuous mode depending on the integration time) the shutter operation is not executed
immediately. The camera automatically handles the shutter timing.
The added delay depends on the exact type of operation that is performed by the camera. The following shutter
delays are specified:

During the image transfer (ITR) shutter operation is not desired. Each shutter request during this period is delayed until
the image transfer (ITR) is completed.

µ s of the image readout no shutter operation is allowed. Each shutter request during this
period is delayed until the first 156.1 µ s of the image readout is completed.
During the rest of the image readout a shutter operation is executed with a delay ranging from 0…29.3 µ s when
vertical binning is not used, or 0...38.9 µ s when using vertical binning.
