3.2 System integration

The following paragraphs pay attention to several aspects that are important to consider during the design of the
system, and during system integration.

3.2.1 General

It is advised to include the precautions of chapter 2 in your own assembly documents.

3.2.2 Mechanical Installation

•

The camera has mounting holes in the top, bottom, and both side of the front for system integration.

•

Pay attention to the maximum length of the mounting screws of the camera. They should not screw in more than
5 mm in the camera front. Too long screws can damage parts in the camera (see chapter 10 for more details).

•

To prevent defects on Camera Link connector tighten the connector with a maximum torque of 29 cNm.

3.2.3 Electrical Installation

•

The camera should be powered by a 12 Vdc, 1 A power supply. The total cable resistance must be less than
1.5 Ohm.

•

The Camera Link output is designed to drive a cable up to 10 meter.
