Description of test image
1. 1. 1. 1. The image has a width and height of 1004 image pixels with an internal resolution of 12 bit. Depending on the
setting of OR (Output Resolution) the image is being readout with 8, 10 or 12 bit.
2. 2. 2. 2. All pixels at the outer side are 100 % white. This one pixel wide edge makes it easy to check if the frame grabber
grabs the correct number of image pixels and image lines.
3. 3. 3. 3. There are four 1 pixel wide lines inserted at rows 2 and 1001, and columns 2 and 1001. These lines have a
luminance of 50 % and mark the 1000 x 1000 pixel area that has a guaranteed performance.
4. 4. 4. 4. The inner image has a value of 0 % (black) with a set of three grayscale blocks. The block at the top consists of
16 gray areas changing in intensity with 255 gray levels up to and including 100 % white. The block at the
bottom is the same but then mirrored. The middle block contains all gray levels available from 0 % up to and
including 100 % white. The block exists of 32 rows, 8 pixels in height. Each row exists of 128 blocks, which are 4
by 8 pixels. The upper row has values ranging from 0, 1, 2, .. up to and including 127; the row below this one
has the values 128, 129, .. up to and including 255; the block is ending at the last row with the values 3968,
3969, .. up to and including 4095.
