2. Drill holes in enclosure as needed for cable/conduit egress/ingress. Four cable grommets are provided with the enclo-
sure for cable ingress/egress. If you will be using the included grommets, drill 1 3/8" diameter holes where the cables
will enter/exit the enclosure.
3. Use a minimum of a #10 screw to fit properly in the diameter of the mounting holes. Make sure to leave a minimum
clearance of two inches from the hinges for opening the door.
4. Using the enclosure as a template, and a carpenter’s level, level the enclosure and the four mounting holes located in
the mounting flanges on the outside of the enclosure.
5. Pre-drill the marked locations and install fasteners or anchors appropriate to the mounting surface and the weight of
the ON 2364. Please consider that the weight of the 2364 ONT in its enclosure may exceed twenty pounds, depending on
your configuration. Check the weight of the units at the Calix website (
www.calix.com
).
6. Mount the ONT to the side of the subscriber’s premise using the mounting flanges on the outside of the enclosure.
3.5.2 Mounting the 2364 ONT Without the Outer Enclosure
Use #10 screws in the two keyholes on the top and the one slot on the bottom of the of the 2364 ONTelectronics panel to
mount the panel inside without the outer enclosure.
