Confirm that 1:UM-3G appears in the Audio MIDI Setup dialog box.
* The number “1:” at the beginning of the device name is the UM-3G’s unit
number. This value will change depending on the setting of the [UNIT]
switch.
* If 1:UM-3G does not appear or if it is grayed out, it means that the UM-3G
is not being recognized properly. Click [Rescan MIDI] . Also try
disconnecting and reconnecting the UM-3G.
* Previous settings from installation of a different version of the driver may still remain. If this is
the case, click on the grayed 1:UM-3G to select it, then click [Remove Device] to delete the
settings.

Click [Add Device] three times. Three new external device will appear.

Specify the Device Name of the new external device .
1. Click to select the newly added New external device , and then click [Show Info] .
2. In the Device Name field, enter name.
* You can change the device name later.
* The number “1:” at the beginning is the
UM-3G’s UNIT number.
3. Click [Apply] .
First external device 1: UM-3G 1
Second external device 1: UM-3G 2
Third external device 1: UM-3G 3
