The screen will indicate “Installing this software requires you to restart your
computer when the installation is done.”
Click [Continue Installation] .

The screen will indicate “Click Restart to finish installing the software.”
Click [Restart] to restart your Macintosh.
* It may take some time for your Macintosh to restart.
This completes installation of the UM-3G driver.
Next, make MIDI device settings.
* You won’t be able to use the UM-3G unless you’ve made these settings.
1.
Set the UM-3G’s [MODE] switch to MASTER .
2.
Set the UM-3G’s [UNIT] switch to 1 .
* Connect the UM-3G to a USB connector on the Macintosh itself. Do not connect it to the USB
connector of your keyboard.
3.
Connect the UM-3G to your Macintosh.
4.
Open the Applications folder of your Macintosh hard disk. In the Utilities folder,
double-click [Audio MIDI Setup] to open the Audio MIDI Setup dialog box.
The Audio MIDI Setup dialog box will appear.
5.
Click the MIDI Devices tab.
