“PASSWORD” Command
The ‘PASSWORD’ command can be used to unlock the internal EEPROM
cells that are password protected in order not to let inexperienced users to change
some power supply parameters that might compromise the correct operation of the
module.
See “Internal Memory Mapping” section for further details on password-
protected cells. These cells are accessible only to CAEN ELS d.o.o. personnel or to
experienced users.
The correct form format for this command is as follows:
PASSWORD:
password
\r
where:
password
is the module password to unlock protected EEPROM cells.
Replies from the power supply are in the form ‘#AK\r’, or ‘#NAK\r’; this non-
acknowledgment reply is generated when the written
password
is incorrect.
Examples:
PASSWORD example with a wrong password:
PASSWORD:elephant
