3.2 INSTALLING ACCESSORIES

This section describes how to remove the MicroMMAC-T chassis cover
and install the following accessories in the MicroMMAC-T:

•

12-port daughterboard

•

MicroSNAC-T daughterboard

•

CRBRIM-W/T module

•

8 MB LDRAM Single In-line Memory Module (SIMM)

See the Preface for a lists of documents providing specific installation,
configuration, and operating instructions for accessories. Chapter 4
includes instructions for configuring and installing TPIMs used for
Ring In/Ring Out ports.

3.2.1 Removing The Chassis Cover

To remove the chassis cover:

Remove the screws from the hub as shown in

Figure 3-7

.

Disconnect the MicroMMAC-T from its power source before
removing the chassis cover to prevent potential electric shock
hazard.

CAUTION

Static discharge can damage the MicroMMAC-T. Always wear
a properly grounded anti-static wrist strap when installing
accessories. A wrist strap is shipped with the MicroMMAC-T.
