Introduction

1000BASE-SX Line Card

The 1000BASE-SX line card contains two independent Gigabit (1000-Mbps) Ethernet ports. The
ports connect to multimode-mode fiber (MMF) cables.

Figure 1-4

shows the front panel of the

1000BASE-SX line card.
