3.2.
Verify dimensions and squaring
Before beginning installation of the automatic cover’s mechanical assembly, check that dimensions and squaring
comply with the civil engineering diagrams (dimensions of the cover pit, perfect horizontal alignment of the
throughwall flange and bearing mounting unit, etc.).
CAUTION:
Incorrect alignment of the throughwall flange and the bearing will lead to serious
malfunctions of the automatic cover.
3.3.
Check the electrical point of supply
Aquamat:
PL3:
‐
Cable 3 × 4 mm² up to 20 m
- Cable 3 x 6 mm² up to 20 m
‐
Cable 3 × 6 mm² up to 30 m
- Cable 3 x 10 mm² up to 40 m
Lay a duct to run the motor sensor cable:
‐
Cable 3 × 1 mm² shielded
Make sure that the sensor cable is not run in the same duct as an energy consuming device.
3.4.
Check draining of the dry pit
The Aquamat motor is not watertight, it is only splashproof (IP55). The PL3 motor is watertight (IP68) when not
in operation. The motor must therefore be installed in a dry pit, equipped with a drainage pump and fitted with a
service hatch that may be locked. The dimensions of this motor pit must comply with the civil engineering
diagrams.
