Inside the Plotters are no user-serviceable parts. The case may be opened only by experts.
Connect only to the specified voltage and current.
During plotting, the film is exposed by a laser beam. This can damage the human eye. Do not look into
the laser beam during operation!
Temperature and humidity affect the accuracy of the plotter. Avoid variations in temperature and hu-
midity. Environment should be clean and dust-free and by no means corrosive!
The photo films are very light-sensitive. Protect them till the end of the fixing process from light!
Store film and chemicals in a cool, dark and dry place.
Before you use the film, let it acclimatize 24 hours at min. to the processing temperature.
When handling chemicals wear personal protective equipment (gowns, gloves, goggles).
The drum surface should be kept clean and dry. To remove any remnants of the tape, use a soft cloth
moistened with a liquid detergent. Do not use a spray.
The fixer contains silver and must be recycled! Safety data sheets for the developer and fixer concen -
trates are available. These are actually no dangerous goods according to transport regulations.
