Product description

The main components of the burner are:

–

Oil pump with solenoid valve and oil connection hos-
es (Fig. 1,

Automated burner controller with reset button (Fig. 1,

The burner (Fig. 1) is directly connected to the heating
system control using the provided burner cable (7-pin
burner plug Fig. 3,

Item 4

).

The burner is operated and monitored by the fully auto-
mated primary burner controller.

–

After a demand for heat has been generated by the
heating system control, the burner is switched on and
the oil in the nozzle is heated to approximately 150°
F. From a cold start the process may take a maxi-
mum of three minutes.

–

After the oil has been heated, the fan and pump are
energized, the solenoid valve is opened, and power
supplied to the igniter.

–

A blue flame is visible immediately after ignition.

–

This combustion system vaporizes the oil using recir-
culation of hot gases, mixing them homogenously
with the combustion air and burning them inside the
burner tube.

–

The flame sensor must send a flame signal before
the safety period expires; otherwise the system will
be switched off. (see Chapter 6.8 „Carrying out safe-
ty test“, page 22)
