To confirm the data that has been entered, click on the

Alarm Calls Setup

2.8.3

In the

Alarm Calls Setup

menu you can define which groups are enabled. Only

those people (or fax machines) from an enabled group are called when an alarm
is initiated.

The alarm fax will be transmitted after all of the people on the enabled

internal

and/or

external groups

are called. Another fax (confirming fax) will be transmitted,

when the alarm has been confirmed by the system.

The system stops calling when at least two people from the

External Group

who

are called confirm the alarm, or one person from the

internal Group

confirm the

alarm

If this confirmation does not occur, the alarm sequence will be repeated

based on the

Repeating Time

setting (adjustable from 1..120 minutes).

Prior to an alarm being initialized, the system will wait a specified amount of time
(set in the

Alarm Delay Time

block) and recheck whether an alarm condition ex-

ists. If the alarm condition continues the alarm procedure will be initiated; other-
wise the alarm procedure will be canceled and the normal condition restored. This
feature will help prevent false alarms from being initiated.
