With these selections it is possible to configure the entire BMS system for maxi-
mum flexibility.

menu selection allows you to set the following modem param-

eters:

COM-Port

: COM1 - COM4 (serial port)

Voice-Command-Set

: Rockwell, P/N 2986

•

Dial Mode

: Pulse, Tone

•

Line Mode

: Direct Line, PABX

•

Prefix

: To get external line in the case when Line Mode = PABX

•

Modem init

: Optional modem initialization parameters.

•

Dialtone test

: Test for dialtone availability. See also

page 35

- Fax Header Setup. The functionality of this test is dependent on sev-

eral technical conditions based on your telephone carrier. If you suspect that
you are having difficulties due to your telephone provider then uncheck this
box.
