MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
The Tessera Managem ent Software is used to configure and control all aspects of Tessera LED
Processor s. The user interface can be accessed in two ways – locally with the use of a m onitor,
m ouse and keyboard, or rem otely using the Tessera Rem ote application.
The user interface is consistent across both access m ethods, with only subtle differences in
functionality.
5.1 - LOCAL USER INTERFACE
When using the local user interface on the processor itself, no external com puter is required.
To view the user interface, connect a m onitor to the local UI port on the rear of the processor.
DisplayPort m onitors are natively supported, other connection types require an adapter. Once
connected, the native resolution of the m onitor is autom atically detected. To change the default
resolution, navigate to Settings > Processor, select a resolution from the dropdown m enu and
click Com m it. The m inim um supported resolution for M2 , T1 , and S4 LED Processors is
1024x768 and the m axim um resolution is 1920x1080. The Tessera S8 and Tessera SX40
LED Processor support UI resolutions of up to 3840x2160.
The user interface is controlled by connecting a m ouse and keyboard to the processor’s USB
ports.
5.2 - TESSERA REMOTE AND OFFLINE
EDITOR
Tessera Rem ote is a Windows PC and Mac OS application that allows rem ote control of Tessera
LED Processors across a network. Additionally, the Rem ote application can be used as an ‘offline
editor’ allowing the set up and editing of Tessera projects when not connected to a processor.
The m ain difference in functionality when working with the Tessera Rem ote app (not offline) is
that the video on canvas edit m odes are not available.
