5.1  Before first use/Changing the collectors

Before first use, new collectors need to be placed in the collector box. During use, the
collectors should be replaced periodically for optimal air cleaning efficiency. Use the steps
described below to replace your collectors.
1.

Flip the main switch [1] to position 0 to turn OFF the Pure induct.

2.

Open the Pure induct collector lid [6] with collecting unit locks [7]

3.

Remove saturated collectors. Follow the guidelines as mentioned at 1.1 Safety
measures and the safety guidelines of your workenvironment when removing the
saturated collectors.

4.

Remove the new collectors from the packaging and place them in the collecting unit.
White collectors should always be the first collector to be placed in the unit (closest
to the main switch), optional collectors always last.

5.

Close the Pure induct collector box lid [6] with collecting unit locks [7]

6.

Used collectors, including ACF’s, can be disposed in your residential waste bin.
Brink suggests placing used filters in the package of the new filters before disposing.

7.

Flip the main switch back to position 1 to turn ON the Pure induct. Allow the unit to
start running.

5.2  Checking the collectors for saturation

Note! To guarantee the optimal operation of the air purifier, it is important to
periodically REPLACE the collector (particle filter) and the Pure induct ACF (gas
and odour filter). Collectors and active carbon filters are suited for single use and
CANNOT be reused, regenerated, cleaned with water or be vacuumed.

In the first few months, regularly check your
collector visually concerning the saturation degree
to see if it needs replacement and to determine
your personal replacement period. We advise you
to use the collector image to see if your collector
needs replacement. The image displays the side-
view of the collector. Replace your collector when it
displays a saturation degree of the collector shown
as “Saturated Collector”. The collector will display
a saturation level from the side of the collector that
is pointed towards the electrostatic section to the
other side of the collector.
