Introduction
The Pure induct is an advanced air purification appliance, based on the unique and
patented ASPRA
®
Technology from VFA Solutions B.V. With this unique technology
even the smallest impurities can be filtered from the air, such as: organic materials like
viruses, bacteria, prions, spores, and animal substances and inorganic particles like soot,
originating from traffic and wood smoke. Fine particles can cause heart and vascular
diseases, cancer and even premature death. Especially ultrafine dust can penetrate the
lungs to get into the bloodstream. Brink Pure induct air purification systems do not use
fibre filters, as these form a breeding ground for microbes. Instead, Brink uses collectors
which prevent microbial growth. The system is optionally equipped with filter material to
remove gases, such as toxic traffic gasses and ozone.
The ASPRA
®
technology has been tested by several institutes, such as VITO, ECN and TNO.
Their tests confirm that the purification efficiency is very high for all atmospheric particles
(range 0.1 µm - 10 µm). Hence, contrary to most standard ventilation filters, the ASPRA
technology is also very effective for removing ultrafine particulate matter and nanoparticles.
