BATTERY CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
Connect adapter’s plug to nebulizer’s AC adaptor jack socket.
Plug the adapter into the appropriate outlet.
Position the switch located on the bottom of Respirolibero Brevi on
“ON”
.
The stand-by LED will become orange.
Let the battery recharge until the stand-by LED becomes green.
For first time use or after storing the battery for a period of time, charge the battery at least 10
hours, and thereafter 4 to 7 hours depending on the length of usage.
A fully charged battery will last for 50 minutes of continuous use.
Do not use the battery with appliance other than your Respirolibero Brevi, or attempt to modify it
for other use.
Do not use the battery in direct sunlight, high temperature of high humidity.
Avoid placing the battery pack on metal or wet surfaces or inside a metal box. This may short-cir-
cuit the battery’s positive and negative contact causing the battery to heat up or explode.
To keep the batteries efficient, it is advisable to recharge them at least once every 6 months.
If the apparatus is not used for a long period of time, the battery will run down.
If a completely charged battery is not used, it will run down over time
Do not use common batteries, but use rechargeable batteries only. Rechargeable batteries must
be set up by respecting the polarity. Do not mix new and used rechargeable batteries.
Do not mix rechargeable batteries types. Use only rechargeable batteries of the recommended
type or similar type. Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
Rechargeable batteries should only be changed under adult supervision.
CLEANING AND MANTENANCE
The appliance requires no particular maintenance, it should simply be regularly cleaned.
Check all the equipment before each use, and replace them if they are dirty, worn or damaged.
Remove the plug before carrying out any cleaning operations.
When the application is finished, perform the following operations:
• remove the cover (2) and the medicine cup, eliminating any residual medicine.
• empty the water tank (7) and clean it together with the transducer using a soft down-free cloth.
To clean the equipment, the cover, cup, filter cover, air filter and fan, use denatured alcohol or a
hypochlorite-based solution which is commonly available in pharmacies.
The outside of the appliance and the storage space should be cleaned when necessary with a soft
cloth soaked in alcohol. Before using the appliance, make sure the alcohol has completely evapo-
rated.
Do not use other substances, liquids or excessively damp cloths, as any seepage
into the appliance could cause irreversible damage.
NEVER IMMERSE THE NEBULIZER RESPIROLIBERO BREVI IN WATER.
The apparatus contains NiMh batteries that must be removed before disposal. To remove the bat-
teries, open the bottom of the apparatus by unscrewing the 4 screws and cut the twin wires, being
careful that the two ends do not come into contact with one another.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal ambient temperature: 4°C ÷ 45°C
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Normal ambient temperature: -10°C ÷ 50°C
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
1. The appliance does not turn on
Check that the AC adapter is correctly connec-
ted to the power outlet and/or the plug is pro-
perly inserted in the appliance.
If the appliance is battery powered, check that
the batteries are completely charged.
Make sure that the water level in the tank is
correct.
2. No or low nebulization
Check that there is medicine in the medicine cup.
Examine the medicine cup for defects.
Make sure that the transducer is clean.
3. The fan does not work properly
Refers to the distributor.

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on this equipment means that this product
must be collected separately from normal wastes at the end of its useful lifespan.
At the end of the appliance useful lifespan, users must therefore take it to an
authorised disposal centre for the recycling of electronic and electro-technical
waste or they should take it back to the retailer upon purchase of a new, similar
appliance, on a one-to-one basis.
An adequate separate waste collection system for later recycling, treatment and
environmentally-friendly disposal of the appliance avoids a negative impact on
the environment and health, as well as it facilitates the recycling of the product’s
different components.
Users who dispose of products in an unauthorised manner shall be liable for admi-
nistrative penalties in compliance with Article 50 of the Legislative Decree No.
22/1997 and the following articles.
