• Before dehydrating your foods, wash them, dry, and
chop or cut into thin slices.
• Lay out the foods onto grids (2) for dehydration at
a distance so as to ensure free passage of hot air
between the food chops or slices.
• Stack the grids (2) on top of one another. Make sure
there are at least three grids (2), even if some of
them are not filled.
Notes:
-

if you use thin food slices or chops (up to 1 cm in
thickness);
- when drying thicker food bits (up to 2 cm in
thickness), rotate the upper tray (2) 180 degrees
relative to the lower tray (fig. 2);
• Cover the grids (2) with the lid (1).
• Insert the power cord plug into the mains socket –
the «00:00» symbols will appear on the display (7).
• Press the timer/temperature set button «
» (5)
once – the default food dehydrator operation time
indicated by flashing symbols «10:00» will appear on
display (7).
• Use the timer/temperature set buttons «
»
(8) to set the food dehydrator operation time «00:30».
For quick dehydrator operation time setting press and
hold one of the timer/temperature set buttons «

» (8).
• Press the timer/temperature set button «
»
(5) again – the default food dehydrator operation
temperature indicated by flashing symbols «70ºС» will
appear on display (7).
• Use the timer/temperature set buttons «
» (8) to set the necessary drying temperature; the
display (7) will show the following symbols: «FAN»
- «35°C» - «40°C» - «45°C» - «50°C» - «55°C» -
«60°C» - «65°C» - «70°C». For quick food dehydration
temperature setting press on and hold down one of the
timer/temperature set buttons «
or
» (8).
Note:
while in the «FAN» operating mode, the heating
element is off, only the fan is on.
•
To switch the dehydrator on, press the on/off button «
» (6), the food dehydrator will switch on and the
preset operation time countdown will appear on the
display (7).
• The hot air comes from below the grids (2), the foods
on the lower grids (2) are affected by the hot air and
dehydrate faster. For more even dehydration place
the foods with greater moisture content on the lower
grids (2).
• It is best to check the foods every hour or every other
hour. Should your foods dry unevenly, you can turn
them over or switch the grids (2) around.
• Before switching the grids (2) around, switch the food
dehydrator off, by pressing on/off button «
» (6).
