MAINTENANCE BY AUTHORIZED USERS

During use calcification takes place in the
machine. The machine is provided with a warning
system that indicates when the machine must be
descaled.

 ignore this message, otherwise the

guarantee will be no longer valid!

TIP

– Regular descaling prolongs the life of your

machine!

7.1

Descaler

WARNING

n

During descaling wear gloves and facial
protection and do not leave the machine
during the process.

TIP

– Make sure there is a large receiving bin (min.

capacity 7 l) for the liquid that is drained.

Remove the drip–tray (9.).

D

Open the door (3.).

D

Lift the cover (1.).

D

Press the programming key (19.4).

D

Press two times the [Enter] key (5.7).

TIP

– If you do not want to descale, within

10 seconds 

press the key (5.8) to stop the

descaling programme.

D

The descaling symbol appears on the display.
The figure in the upper right corner indicates the
number of liters of water that has been used
since the last descaling process.

Tear off the filter paper just above the litter bin.

D

Empty the litter bin and put it back into the
machine.

WARNING

n

The water coming out of the drain hose can
be very hot.

D

Pull the drain hose (20.) about 5 cm out of the
machine.

D

Remove the plug from the drain hose and let
the water flow into the litter bin.

D

Place the plug on the drain hose again.

D

Loosen the hot water supply hose (25.) from
the brewer.

D

Lengthen the hot water supply hose with the
delivered black water hose.
Lead the water hose through the hot water
opening in the door.

WARNING

n

From both hoses (21. and 25.) a mixture of
water and descaler will flow during the
descaling programme.

D

Put a receiving bin with a capacity of at least 7
liters under this hose.
