10. Dialysis mode
Dialysis mode supplies the connected dialysis machines. (Among other things, the dialysis machine dilutes
haemodialysis concentrate to provide ready-to-use dialysate.)
Impulse rinsing (IRS) – option
During dialysis mode, impulse rinsing of the 1st and 2nd stages is carried out according to the operating
times entered.
These modes of operation are not indicated on the display and do not affect permeate supply.
NOTE
Disinfection is not permitted during dialysis.

Dialysis mode
Dialysis mode begins when the operating mode switch is switched to
1 = System ON.
It is also possible to activate dialysis operation by switching the operating
mode switch to 2. In this case, dialysis operation can be activated using
ON/OFF and via the on/off function on the remote control and display
key “Dial”.
The green function lamp “Dialysis” is lit.
The software option “Stdby” appears if the automatic program has
been programmed by the dialysis operator (switch position 2).

During dialysis mode the retention rate (RH) is shown in percent. This is
calculated using the following equation:

Fault message
If a fault is determined in this mode of operation, a fault message appears.
The system may be switched off, depending on the type of fault.
