Example 2: ezRoom Voice & Alert PlenumCore with CB2000 Keypad Control

In example 2:

•  The ezRoom PlenumCore 2x2ft (60x60cm) enclosure holds the core components .

•   HDMI is connected directly from the teacher’s computer to the display, and audio is passed through the display to the 

CM900 amplifier in the enclosure .

•   The CB2000 keypad control is IP addressable and connected to the system via the CM900 CLAN port in the enclosure .

•   The CB55 wall panel allows the teacher to activate Bluetooth pairing for streaming from their phone or tablet, and 

provides an audio output for connecting to an Assisted Listening Device .

•  Four lay-in speakers are connected to the CM900 amplifier with plenum rated cabling above the dropped ceiling . 

•   Power Over Ethernet is supplied to the system, and a built-in PoE extractor included in the enclosure, allowing for limited 

operation during a power outage .

•  If using an external duplex power outlet, follow electrical codes for plenum and non-plenum spaces .
