1. Check the jaws for cleanliness and damage.
2. Check the insulation of the insert for damage.

1. Check the connector for damage and corrosion.
2. Inspect the insulation for damage.
9.4 Packaging
Before sterilisation, the instrument or its individual parts must be placed in suitable
disposable sterilisation packaging (single or double packaging) and/or a suitable
sterilisation container.
The packaging must meet the following requirements:

DIN EN ISO 11607-1
•
Suitable for steam sterilisation (resistant to temperatures up to 137°C, sufficient steam
permeability)
•
Regular maintenance (sterilisation container)

Check the instrument components for completeness.
10 Environmental conditions
10.1 Storage and transport
The original packaging is intended for storing non-sterile instruments before they are
used for the first time. Protect the packaging from moisture and both direct and indirect
sunlight.
The shipping box is not intended for storing the sterile device.
