Cable with connecting plug supplied with the appliance, with a section of 1mm

Supply voltage of 230V, single phase, 50/60 Hz.

The appliance must be connected to a single phase, 10/16 Amp, female socket with earth, and should be connected
under the protection of a high-sensitivity differential circuit breaker protected against voltage surges.

Before plugging or unplugging the device, make sure the general switch situated on the left-hand side is off.
y
The appliance must not be connected other than via the single phase connector. Any modification to this arrangement
will release us from our responsibility in this regard.
OPERATION
y
In order to use it with a "Satine" Buffet Line hot plate, you must change the four legs situated on the lower part of the
plate:
-
lay the plate upside down while protecting the glassware.
-
unscrew the four screws holding the stainless steel plate.
-
turn the plate around and remove the legs after you have pushed the central axis of the legs.
-
secure the plate back on and install the four legs delivered with the lamp. In order to keep the legs in their position,
push the central axis after setting the part with stud in the holes.

Position the lamp and the plate according to Figure 2, Page 2.

Set the general switch of the lamp on "0".
y
Connect the 2P+T plug.
y
Set the switch on "1".
y
In order to use the hot plate, refer to the instructions.

If the hot plate is warm, you may use the unit right away.

This equipment is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory
capacities, or by individuals lacking the necessary experience or knowledge, unless they have received supervision or
prior instructions relating to the use of the equipment by an individual responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.

General information on stainless steel : The term “stainless steel” can cause some confusion. It is steel which “resists”
to corrosion in certain conditions.
Any type of stainless steel can be corroded:
-
austenitic, e.g. “stainless steel 304” also called 18/10.
-
ferritic, e.g. “F17” or “F18TNb”.
Resistance to corrosion of stainless steel results from the existence of a passive layer of chromium oxide which is re-
newed spontaneously when in contact with the air. Any phenomenon interfering with the creation of this layer is likely
to cause corrosion.
