Livewell
The 305 Conquest is equipped with a
24 Gal.(91L) livewell that is located on
the port aft corner of the sterndeck. The
livewell’s primary function is to circulate
seawater in the livewell bucket. There is
a flow direction nozzle located on the flow inlet head
The raw water pump, seacock and plumbing that ser-
vice the system can be accessed through the hatch lo-
cated on the aft cockpit floor and the cockpit door on
the aft port transom.
OPERATION:
The livewell can be filled by using the switch marked
“LIVEWELL PUMP” on the instrument panel at the helm
station. Before filling the livewell, you must make certain
the hull seacock and the livewell flow adjust valve are in
the open position. The livewell flow adjust valve is lo-
cated behind the door just port of the stern seat panel.
The seacock is located under the access hatch on the aft
cockpit floor. The flow control valve lets you adjust the
flow of water into the livewell tank, turning the handle
clockwise 90° will shut off the flow of water.
LIVEWELL
SYSTEM
The livewell also has a pair of drain plugs that are used
to adjust the water level in the livewell. One plug is used
in the basin drain at the base of the livewell, the other
plug can be used between the two overflow fittings on
the side of the livewell.
The seacock MUST be in the OPEN position. Running
the pump dry may cause damage to the unit.
