Tensile load

Limited values for tensile load according to EN 60079-0. It is not allowed to

exceed the specified values of the tensile loading via cables which are con‐

nected via connectors. The maximum allowed values are determined in the

following context.

Impact strength of plug connectors in the case of mechanical danger

The impact strength of the plug connectors on MS2E motors correspond to a

low degree of mechanical danger acc. to EN 60079-0:2018, Tab. 15, line b).
The risk of mechanical endangerment onto the plug connectors on motors

and cables due to impact from different directions must therfore be evaluated

by the user. Possible risks due to a higher degree of endangerment can re‐

duce the mechanical protection of the plug connectors.
The plug connectors fulfill the requirements about impact strength according

to the following table.
