Important instructions on use
2.1.1
Intended use
Prerequisites for proper and safe use of the motors are proper transport, ap‐
propriate storage, proper assembly and connection, careful maintenance, op‐
eration and overhaul.
The motors have been designed for installation in industrial machinery. The
motors have been designed and manufactured in compliance with the EU di‐
rectives and harmonized standards specified in the following.
The observance of and compliance with the specifications of the operating in‐
structions (DOK-MOTOR*-MS2E*******-PRRS-**-P) are part of the intended
use.
The here described motors are only allowed to be used in an area for compo‐
nents for Group II, Category 3G/3D, ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.
●
where no explosive atmosphere can occur during normal operation, as
this is avoided by ventilation and monitoring.
●
where explosive atmosphere can occasionally occur in an event of fault
and this atmosphere can be eliminated and intercepted by the user im‐
mediately after occurrence. Thus the explosive atmosphere appears
rarely and for a short period of time.
This corresponds to the use of motors in zone 2 and zone 22.
